Each one of you readers must have some beliefs. Those who dont must be looking for something to believe or worship or look upon. Just like that, thousands of years ag, a bunch of people believed in a theory. The theory waa that there are Gods and Goddesses for almost everything in the world. Sea God, Rain God, Rainbow Goddess, War God, Agriculture Goddess... you get the idea. Zeus, God of Thunder was the King of all Gods. As Gods reproduced, more Gods and Goddesses came into being and as the important posts got bagged, the less important ones like God of Doors were left. Nevertheless they were taken by the immortal entities. Now the Gods and Goddesses never only reproduced with Gods but with mere humans too. This gave rise to another kind of living beings who were not immortal but had some extent of the power of their Godly parent who were known as Demigods.
When the world was created, there was chaos. Nothing was clear and everything seemed doomed. The arrival of Erebus, the godforsaken place where death dwelled, and Night brought no more hope in life. But then from the froth and foam of the seas, Love was born which gave rise to Light and Day. This more or less brought some order. And then from Light and Day, Gaea was given birth known as the earth. Erebus and Night got together and Ether, the heavenly light, and Day, the earthly light, was born. Then, of course, things got darker as more things were produced. Night, alone, produced Doom, Fate, Death, Sleep, Dreams, Nemesis and all the other feared and sometimes, loved, things. Gaea was not to be left behind. She produced Uranus, the heavens who helped her in all of the deeds she did. Gaea and Uranus together gave rise to 3 Cyclops, 3 Hecatoncheires and 12 Titans.
